We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS) and their Honor Society (IKHS), advised by Ms. Rula Sakr. Honor Society members have raised donations for our shelter by designing and selling stickers of our fluffy residents; designing and selling pins with our logo; and planning a ‘Color Run’ that all high school students enjoyed. They visited the Animal Welfare Center to personally hand over the donations and meet our cats and dogs. The donation was a collaborative effort between the Honor Society members, the school administration and staff, and students of IKNS who all participated in the fundraising activities to provide our furry residents with the food and treats that they will consume with their tails wagging from happiness."
