إسقاط الجنسية عن المتعاطفين مع العدوان الإيراني تعبيرٌ صادق عن إرادة الوطن وحكمة القيادة

Sama Yousef, President of the Bahrain Strategic Planning Society, affirmed her full and unwavering support for the decision to revoke Bahraini citizenship from anyone proven to have expressed sympathy for or glorified Iran's hostile and heinous acts targeting the nation's security and stability. She considered it a sovereign decision par excellence, embodying the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him—a leadership that has demonstrated that Bahrain's security and the safety of its citizens are a red line that cannot be compromised or neglected.

She simultaneously praised what she described as a courageous decision reflecting the leadership's strategic foresight, emphasizing that the Kingdom, under its wise leadership, did not wait for threats to accumulate and escalate, but rather acted decisively and effectively to counter any attempt targeting the home front or seeking to undermine national unity. She noted that "true strategic planning begins with identifying the danger before it escalates, and what the state has done today is precisely what sound strategy dictates: cutting off those who exploit citizenship as a cover to serve hostile foreign agendas and who use citizenship rights as a shield to attack the nation that granted them these rights."

She explained that "citizenship, in its essence, is not merely a document granted or a number in a register, but rather a two-party contract based on a balance between rights and duties. Under this contract, the state grants the individual protection, belonging, and guaranteed rights, and the individual offers sincere and unwavering loyalty and belonging." She pointed out that "whoever expresses sympathy for those who attack their homeland or glorifies their aggression has forfeited their rights." The principal party to this contract was in his possession before the state revoked it, and the decision in this case is not a punishment but rather a formal recognition of a reality created by his own actions.

The head of the Bahrain Strategic Planning Association explained that "Bahrain's true strength has never been solely in its wealth or geographical location, but rather in the unity of its people with their wise leadership, and in the national cohesion that has withstood all attempts at infiltration and fragmentation over the years." She emphasized that this deep bond between the leadership and the people is the strongest shield and impenetrable barrier against anyone who bets on fracturing the national fabric or relies on weaknesses in the internal front. She concluded by saying, "With this decisive decision, Bahrain is establishing a clear and unambiguous principle to safeguard the security and future of the nation."
