The conclusion of the training of the first group of the “Tayseer 3” program to support community dialogue

Yesterday evening, a training course was concluded for the first group of participants in the "Facilitation 3" program to support community dialogue, organized by the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue. Community issues and disputes.


Participated in the first group of the program, Representative Mahmoud Mirza Fardan, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, along with 37 other participants from social activists, researchers and interested people; Among them are seconded employees and workers in the offices of Representatives: Representative Mahmoud Fardan, Representative Muhammad Al-Rifai and Representative Abdullah Al-Dhaen, members of the Bahraini Foundation for Dialogue, and representatives of two political societies: the Islamic League Society and the National Unity Gathering Society, and representatives of a number of 12 civil society institutions; These are: The General Union of Education and Training Workers, Cerebral Palsy Friends Society, Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions, Bahrain Society for Voluntary Work, Drug Recovery Society, Al-Kawthar Society for Social Welfare, Al-Marsad Society for Human Rights, Jidhafs Charitable Society, Isa Town Social Charitable Society, Zallaq Youth Empowerment Center, Al-Shakhoura Youth Empowerment Center, and Jeblat Hebshi Youth Empowerment Center.

The intensive training course for the first group was launched over four consecutive days with 16 training hours, led by the Executive Director of the Foundation, trainer Abbas Hamadeh, trainer Muhammad Al-Mulla and trainer Noha Hassan. It focused on providing the participants with scientific and practical concepts related to dialogue and its importance, and highlighting the stages of its design, in addition to the topic of facilitating dialogue, the qualities and skills of a successful dialogue facilitator, and a number of community dialogue initiatives that were previously implemented, the success they achieved, and the obstacles and challenges they faced were reviewed.

At the end of the training, Representative Mahmoud Fardan expressed his pride in participating in the "Facilitation 3" program, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue, its board of trustees and executive management, and to the trainers, staff and all participants. He emphasized that the Foundation and its team did not carry the slogan of dialogue as a slogan only, but rather believed in it as a methodology and made it a message for them and a practical project that the Foundation works on. They translated it by launching training courses for the community, supporting and adopting social initiatives, and encouraging successful dialogue meetings.

Representative Mahmoud Fardan concluded his speech by saying that the Tayseer program will be a debt on our shoulders towards the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue. We will pay it and pay it with the help of God Almighty by carrying the noble message of this program, and working to employ community dialogue as an effective tool to serve society and its issues.

The training course for the second group of the program is scheduled to start next Monday, God willing. The second group includes 40 other participants, who are trained by three Bahraini trainers. They are: Trainer Abbas Hamadeh, Trainer Fatima Abdul Mohsen, and Trainer Mithaq Rouhani.
