Al-Kawthar Society for Social Welfare and Orphan Care concluded its seventh annual trip to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque, which included 21 young men and 36 young women in two batches, accompanied by the director of the association, Zahra Al-Dailami, and a number of administrative, advisory and medical cadres.
The program prepared by the Organizing Committee for Umrah al-Kawthar, which is held under the slogan "Highness to God", included many activities and visits to holy places and Islamic and archaeological monuments in Makkah and Madinah, in addition to the trip's inclusion of scientific workshops and lectures, with a series of cultural programs and various activities. .
Participants in the development program "Umrat al-Kawthar" praised the level of outstanding organization and the remarkable diversification of the programs and activities included in the trip, which contributed to strengthening the teachings of the Islamic religion, in addition to developing personal talents through the continuous series of workshops and lectures given by a number of specialists.
The "Umrat al-Kawthar" project comes from the development goals that the Al-Kawthar Association is working on, as this project aims to develop the religious faith of young men and women, and to enhance a sense of self-confidence, while motivating them towards volunteer work.
The trip, which is held annually, is preceded by a preparation period that includes a course in the teachings and rulings of Umrah that the participants must pass, in addition to intensive health examinations and lectures.
