Artist Abbas Al-Musawi: Launching artistic and solidarity initiatives with orphans during the Ashura season

The 21st Imam Hussein (PBUH) Art Festival, which is being held via cyberspace, is sponsored by the Jaafari Endowments Administration and supervised by the plastic artist Abbas Al-Musawi, a solidarity initiative with orphans, in partnership with the Al-Kawthar Society for Social Welfare.

In cooperation with the Al-Kawthar Association, a night will be devoted to solidarity with orphans and to launch interactive initiatives and events with the public, in the context of urging everyone to pay attention to this important segment of society, inspired by noble religious values.


Artist Abbas Al-Mousawi explained that this campaign represents one of the human manifestations inspired by the memory of Ashura, and it will be launched on the night of the seventh of Muharram through a campaign of tweets on social media. The great importance of orphan care and the importance of concerted efforts to provide more initiatives in support of the orphan category.


For his part, the President of the Al-Kawthar Association, Ahmed Saleh Al-Nuaimi, praised this initiative, which includes allocating a night of solidarity with orphans, stressing the association’s support for any initiative that is in the interest of promoting a culture of caring for orphans, which is considered by the tolerant Sharia as one of the best devotional acts that bring the servant closer to his Lord, and contribute effectively and effectively. In promoting social peace and a decent life, adding: The life of Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, until his last moments on the day of Ashura, was full of noble human models that emphasize the importance and status of caring for orphans in Islamic law. An affirmation of this human dimension that emanates from the spirit of pure faith in God Almighty.
