A delegation from the Bahraini Women's Union participated, consisting of Ms. Ahlam Rajab, President of the Union, Ms. Farida Darwish, Vice President, Ms. Rawaa Al-Sheikh, Financial Secretary, and Ms. Nisreen Al-Arid, a member of the Union's Board of Directors, in addition to a number of participants from women's associations and labor unions.
In the dialogue session organized by the Free Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions at the Bapco Club in Awali on Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025, under the title “The Reality of Equal Opportunities between Men and Women in the Kingdom of Bahrain - Challenges and Future Prospects”
The panel discussion featured a number of academics, stakeholders, and representatives from the Shura Council and the House of Representatives. The panel exchanged proposals and formulated recommendations that will contribute to advancing the progress of Bahraini women, particularly proposals related to supporting women on the cultural, legislative, and societal levels.
