The Bahrain Women Union participates with the Free Union in the early cancer screening campaign

A delegation from the Bahrain Women Union, consisting of Ms. Ahlam Rajab, President of the Union, Ms. Farida Darwish, Vice President, Ms. Rawaa Al Sheikh, Financial Secretary, and Board Members Ms. Iman Al Asfour and Dr. Maryam Al Shatti, attended the launch of the early breast cancer screening campaign on Wednesday morning, October 1st, which was organized by the Bahrain Free Trade Union Federation, at the Bapco Club Hall in Awali.

A number of governmental and private entities participated in the campaign launch, in the presence of business unions and a number of representatives of civil society and women's associations. The launch ceremony was accompanied by many activities, including a lecture by one of the recovered women, in addition to awareness and guidance lectures on prevention and treatment, and motivating presentations to encourage early screening by governmental and private hospitals.
