The Union's Board of Directors meets with the heads of women's associations

The union's Board of Directors met with the heads of women's associations on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the headquarters of the International Women's Association.

The meeting was held to discuss the latest developments regarding the Board of Directors, following the resignation of one of the board members for personal reasons. It was agreed to hold by-elections, and nominations will be accepted until January 15, 2026.

It was also agreed to visit the Riffa Cultural and Charitable Society, one of the founding members of the Bahrain Women's Union.
