Bahrain Women Union and The Bahrain Young Ladies Association Hold Seminar on Equality and Ending Violence

Bahrain Women Union, in cooperation with The Bahrain Young Ladies Association, organized a seminar entitled “Yes to Equality… Together, We Can End Violence” on Tuesday, 16 September 2026, at the headquarters of The Bahrain Young Ladies Association.

The seminar featured Ms. Nadia Al Muscaty, President of The Bahrain Young Ladies Association and Chairperson of the Nationality Committee at Bahrain Women Union, and Attorney Zahra Al Fardan. Both speakers addressed several issues related to equality, ways to combat violence, and the importance of raising community awareness of women’s rights.

The seminar was moderated by Ms. Mona Al Zayer and attended by members of civil society associations, as well as a number of individuals and those interested in women’s and community issues.

The seminar forms part of the ongoing efforts of Bahrain Women Union and women’s associations to promote community dialogue and raise awareness of the importance of equality and combating all forms of violence.
