Held under the theme “Rural Women: A Journey of Giving,” the forum took place on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions Hall in the Adliya area.

The forum coincided with the International Day of Rural Women and aimed to highlight the role of rural women and their contributions to community development, showcase their achievements across various fields, and strengthen cooperation among institutions and associations concerned with women’s issues, labour, and society.

Bahrain Women Union’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting initiatives that highlight the achievements of Bahraini women from all walks of life, strengthen their role in sustainable development, and foster partnerships with civil society organisations in support of women’s issues and their continued empowerment.
