The Bahrain Cats and Pets Association organized the first Allianz Championship for the beauty of dogs in Bahrain, in addition to the competition for the beauty of greyhounds, in the Atlantis Sports Complex in Damistan.
The competition, which is being held for the first time in Bahrain, was launched under the supervision of an international jury and with the wide participation of original dog breeders from Gulf, Arab and Western countries.
In addition, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Muhammad Al-Mas, said that the number of participants in the competition, which is being held for the first time, exceeded expectations, and the event was crowned with great success and the large presence of viewers and participants alike.
Regarding the goal of holding this competition, Al-Mass said: “The aim of this competition is to develop this hobby at the local level and move amateurs from the hobby stage to professionalism. Therefore, the organizing committee was keen to select a jury, whose members have long experience and expertise in this field.” ".
With regard to the winners, Al-Mass mentioned that the amateur Youssef Mohammed Ibrahim won the first place in the German Shepherd category, and Ahmed Janki and the Brothers Canel team achieved the second place for the Rottweiler Hogan dog, while Shuaib Mohammed won the third place for the Japanese Spitz, and for the Saluki category of the Bahrain Cat Society And pets were won by Britta Tappendorf with her dog "Sahm Al Rashidiya".
Al-Masat expressed his great happiness at the great success achieved by this competition, thanking the judge, Maria, and the representative of the Cats and Pets Association, Hana Kanoo, in addition to the head of the organizing committee in the sisterly State of Kuwait, Bader Al-Sayegh, for his cooperation and participation.
