The event of cleaning the coast of Jid al-Hajj, on the occasion of World Environment Day, which falls on the fifth of June, and under the slogan this year (Beat Plastic Pollution).
A large number participated during the environmental event, whether from the villagers or from outside, in a clear picture showing the extent of people's awareness of the importance of such important activities, which would preserve the environment of the Kingdom of Bahrain clean and safe.
Urbaser and the Paramedic Academy team were also present during the event, and provided all possible support for the success of the cleaning process.
The cleaning campaign lasted for about two hours, in a friendly atmosphere among all those present, during which large quantities of dirt were collected, which varied between what could be recycled or destroyed.
This is considered one of the activities that fall under the volunteer work that the Jid Al-Haj Charity Society seeks to take care of and spread as part of the culture and awareness among members of Bahraini society.
In the end, we extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Governor for this generous care, and His Excellency the Chairman of the Council for being with us, and to all the members of the northern governorate and municipality. We also thank Urbaser-Bahrain and the Paramedic Academy team as well.
As for the special thanks, it is extended to the people who are keen on all that is beneficial and good for the village, and we stand for them with respect and appreciation for their honorable presence.
