To enrich volunteer work with technology
Charity (Jid al-Hajj) holds the Volunteers Conference - the first in 2024, with the participation of 46 charitable organizations
In the presence of 135 people interested in the media field and digital content from various villages and cities of the Kingdom of Bahrain
Jid Al-Haj Charity Society hosted the First Volunteer Conference 2024 in its first edition, which was titled (Digital Content for Charities) with the aim of qualitatively improving volunteer work in the field of digital content creation, which emphasizes the status of volunteer work undertaken as part of the culture of the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The conference tried to shed light on content marketing in charities, and managing the work system in social media platforms. The conference was held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 AD, corresponding to Shaaban 6, 1445 AH, in the New Season Bahrain Hall. This conference is considered the first of its kind at the level of charitable societies, which is held in conjunction with the Jid Al-Haj Charity Society taking the initiative to honor a group of pioneers of volunteer work in various regions of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The conference aims to advance the culture of volunteer work according to sustainable visions, develop and strengthen community partnership, and bridge the relationship between society and charitable volunteer institutions. It also seeks to advance volunteer cadres and enable them to participate actively in the progress of society, enhance volunteers’ skills and competence, refine their cumulative practical experience, create relationships between volunteers and houses of expertise, and enhance efficiency.
The conference provided opportunities to raise awareness of the latest methods of creating volunteer content, and introduce volunteers to the most important skills for creating digital volunteer content. It also provided appropriate opportunities to exchange expertise and experiences.
The conference encouraged the development of a culture of innovation and production among female volunteers in the fields of volunteering and community initiative, and motivated participants to launch and adopt innovative community initiatives with content marketing as their marketing tools.
The conference called on volunteer charities to adopt distinguished creative programs and initiatives in the field of creating digital content in the field of volunteer work, and to adopt ambitious youth ideas in the technological and media fields that enrich volunteer work and raise its efficiency.
The conference achieved a remarkable attendance and prominent topics were discussed that emphasized the importance of paying attention to digital content and managing work in social work platforms and its positive and effective role in leading volunteer work, advancing social development, and confronting the challenges faced by charities while carrying out volunteer work.
The participating experts stressed the importance of organizing such conferences because of their effective role in spreading the culture of volunteering using the latest methods and means in order to achieve social solidarity.
