Jid Al-Haj Charity Society held a ceremony honoring village nurses on the occasion of International Nursing Day 2023 at the headquarters of the Charity. This day falls on May 12 every year.
At the beginning of the honoring ceremony, which was attended by a number of the villagers, in addition to the members of the charity, the master of the ceremony, Fadel Jumaa, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the nursing staff and the honorable attendees.
The ceremony began with a fragrant recitation from the Holy Quran by the reciter Muhammad Jamil.
After that, Ali Hassan, President of Jid Al-Haj Charity Society, delivered the association’s speech, followed by a speech by Nurse Manar Al-Saba’, spokesperson for the nursing staff in the village, stressing in her that this celebration enhances and affirms the distinguished position enjoyed by the nursing staff and the vital role it plays in providing nursing care, praising their efforts. In order to serve the community and improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of health care, despite the challenges and difficulties they face.
Sister Iman Ibrahim, a member of the women's committee in the Charity, delivered a speech in which she emphasized that celebrating the participants is evidence of the association's appreciation for the nurses and for the great services they provide and an encouragement for them to exert more effort and giving in order to seek to develop and improve the quality of nursing care services.
At the end of the ceremony, the nursing staff participating in the celebration of International Nursing Day were honored with commemorative shields by the association, as a tribute to them and their efforts in community service.
