On Tuesday, the 21st of March, Jid Al-Haj Charity Society held the Family Day event (Mother's Day) in the Jid Al-Haj area, which is the first of its kind in the region. The event included distributing flowers to all the mothers of the village, which included about 400 families.
The association believes that the establishment of this event of human, social and development significance has a major role in enhancing the status of the mother, stressing that honoring the mother, who is the pillar of the family and the maker of generations, a servant of societies and countries, represents the community’s loyalty and appreciation for her efforts and sacrifices for a cohesive family and a safe and stable society.
The association calls for more attention to the mother, her care and preservation, and the kinship relationship between the family and relatives.
The people of the village who were met during the event also appreciated this initiative, as they said that Mother’s Day has a symbolic importance in which we remember the sacrifices and donations of the mother and her struggle to preserve the family and its cohesion, praising the kind gesture and kind initiative of honoring all mothers in the village, which they see as an appreciation for their role in the performance of duty. towards their families and society.
