Khair Plus is making a qualitative shift in the field of electronic donations by providing Apple Pay and Samsung Pay for free For more than 100 charitable organizations

The Khair Plus initiative granted more than 100 charitable organizations benefiting from the initiative the service of activating the latest available payment options and technologies, the most important of which are Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, for free. This initiative comes within a plan to expand and diversify the donation options available to all beneficiary groups. This step aims to keep pace with the latest technologies in the field of electronic payments. And facilitating the digital transformation process for community institutions and charities.

The Khair Plus Initiative called on community organizations and charitable organizations to take advantage of these modern options for donation within the payment options currently available to them. This would contribute to providing more flexible solutions and options for donors, and may help organizations attract new categories of donors and raise the level of revenues.
It is worth noting that the initiative, as usual, provided this qualitative addition free of charge to community institutions and charities benefiting from the initiative as a form of technological support and encouragement of digital transformation. The initiative and those responsible for it bear the cost of preparing and activating the new donation options Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, which cost of activation exceeded more than 32,400 Bahraini dinars per year. First, this cost continues to be approximately 24,000 Bahraini dinars annually.

The support costs for each association are summarized only in relation to activating the new donation options as follows:

Apple Pay:
First year: 180 Bahraini dinars.
Subsequent years: 120 Bahraini dinars per year.

Samsung Pay:
First year: 180 Bahraini dinars.
Subsequent years: 120 Bahraini dinars per year.

The Khair Plus initiative is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which introduced electronic donation solutions to community institutions. The initiative follows the Agile methodology, which ensures the provision of innovative and qualitative solutions with an economical cost, ease of use, flexibility in management, and development by adopting a well-studied and adaptive strategy to changes and challenges. Therefore, over the past years, the initiative has been able to continue providing quality technological support and innovative solutions, and with the rise in operational and technological costs, the initiative has been able to continue providing economic and practical solutions to the beneficiaries.
