The Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council, His Eminence Sheikh Mohsen Al Asfour, received in his office the Head of the Naeem Charity Association, Hamid Yousef Rahma, in the presence of the members of the Association’s Board of Directors, on the occasion of the new administrative formation of the Association.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Jafaria Endowments Council welcomed the association’s delegation, and congratulated them on winning the trust of the association’s members, stressing the administration’s keenness to communicate and partner with civil society institutions and invest the available capabilities to serve the various segments of society through the establishment of investment projects with optimal leasing and in a manner that represents the highest return on the endowed entities.
The head of the Jaafari Endowments praised the role played by the Al-Naim Charity Association, and the activities and programs it provides in the service, social, humanitarian and charitable fields, for the good and benefit of the country and citizens, stressing in this context the importance of the role of civil organizations and their contributions in supporting the development process, noting the importance of cooperation between Management of the Jaafari endowments and charitable institutions according to the principles of community partnership.
His Eminence Sheikh Mohsen Al Asfour expressed his keenness and interest in the Al-Naim area, promising a package of projects, including the establishment of a project that includes folk crafts in the region on one of the real estate belonging to the Jaafari Endowments Administration, as well as building a housing project on one of the endowment real estate to serve the youth of the region at preferential prices and in a way that contributes to the province. on the identity of the region.
In this context, the head of the Jaafari Endowments reviewed the campaign for the reconstruction and development of Al-Naim mosques and obsequies within the project for the reconstruction of 900 mosques, obsequies and cemeteries, which was inaugurated by the administration on the occasion of the ninetieth anniversary of the founding of the Jaafari Endowments Administration, where it was built to develop the facades of half of the Al-Naim mosques.
In the same context, the head of the Jaafari Endowments directed the continuation of work on a package of important projects, including a popular vertical craft market, to achieve what the people aspire to in terms of restoring the glory and history of the contributions of this region in supporting the national economy and reviving the old professional legacies, pointing to the existence of important professions that were concentrated in the Al-Naeem area. It was a main center for it in the capital, Manama, but unfortunately it has disappeared or left to other areas, including the profession of carpentry. We are ready, in coordination with the official authorities and the people of the region, to resettle it and revive its centers according to the investment formulas approved in the management of the Jaafari endowments and according to the capabilities available from the endowment real estate in the region.
During the meeting, many issues related to the Al-Naeem region were discussed, including the Al-Naeem cemetery and the Abbas Ali Mosque, and the optimal utilization of endowment properties for the benefit of the region and its people was also discussed.
The head of the Jaafari Endowments reviewed the administration's efforts to monitor the wall of the Al-Naim cemetery, as it is expected that the project tender will be announced by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments within the projects budget allocated to the Jaafari Endowments Department.
For his part, the President of the Naeem Charitable Society, Mr. Hamid Yousef Rahma, and the members of the board of directors of the association expressed their great appreciation for the initiatives of the Jaafari Endowments, praising the fruitful cooperation between the administration and charitable societies in various regions of Bahrain.
