On the occasion of the International Day of Charity:
Ras Rumman Association celebrates a group of its members..
(Ras Al-Rumman Charitable Association) honored a number of its members on the occasion of the International Day of Charitable Work corresponding to (September 5, 2020 AD), in an initiative to support and appreciate the efforts made by the honorees, during their benevolent journey in serving the association and the people of the region, fighting poverty and providing assistance to needy families with love and sincerity.
The President of the Association, Mr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Rass Rummani, praised the outstanding efforts of the honorees during their charitable career with a speech he delivered during the ceremony, in which he said, “On the occasion of the International Day for Charitable and Voluntary Work, we are pleased at the Ras Al-Rumman Charitable Association to start honoring this distinguished and distinguished group, consisting of members of the Board of Directors. The administration, and the supporters for their efforts, activity, presence, and continuous financial support, which had a great impact on achieving the objectives of the association, and serving the needy families.”
The president of the association continued his speech, referring to the impact left by each of the honored members of the association during his work, by strengthening the position of the association, and showing it as a role model in charitable work nationwide with the highest levels of professionalism and accumulated experience over the past years.
For his part, Mr. Issa Ibrahim Khalifa (the association’s advisor), and one of the honorees, gave a word of thanks in which he said, “On behalf of myself and my fellow honored members of the association’s board of directors, we thank the dear brother, the chairman of the board of directors, for this valuable gesture, and I am honored and pleased to be among the honorees My colleagues, in this small and large celebration in its meanings and significance, which we are honored with, and thanks be to God for all that we have been honored to do so, and to the members who are unknown to the people of the region, who strive with all available capabilities to support and serve the needy families.
Mr. Issa Ibrahim concluded his speech, wishing success to serve the people of the region and its affiliates.
It is worth noting that (International Day of Charitable Work) was approved to coincide with the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 AD, for her efforts in combating poverty and destitution, which were a threat to peace at the time.
