His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Development, Mr. Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shahrakan Charity Association, Mr. Makki Hassan, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sabsab Charity Association, Mr. Najeh Al-Tawash, in the presence of a number of members of the board of directors of the two associations, in his office.

During the meeting, the most important objectives of the two associations and their activities were reviewed, and the qualitative social development projects they offer that benefit the local community in the social, cultural, charitable and humanitarian fields. On this occasion, Humaidan stressed that the Ministry of Labor and Social Development spares no effort in supporting civil society organizations, pointing out that development and charitable work is a field for achieving aspirations to raise the level and quality of services provided to citizens, in partnership with the government and private sectors, to advance social, charitable and cultural work, praising At the same time, the role and responsibility of these organizations in finding the needs of civil society on the ground, which qualifies them to play developmental roles that are compatible with the needs of individuals and families, in order to achieve community participation through the development initiatives put forward by civil organizations.

For their part, the chairpersons and members of the board of directors of the two associations expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development for the efforts it exerts in supporting civil organizations to achieve development and growth in order to maintain the continuity of volunteer, developmental and charitable work, stressing work to implement their ambitions and aspirations towards providing more giving in Bahraini society.
