His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Development, Mr. Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, met in his office the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tree of Life Social Charitable Society, Mr. Khalil Ahmad Al-Dailami, in the presence of a number of members of the Society's Board of Directors.
During the meeting, Al-Dailami reviewed the most prominent developments in the association’s programs and charitable projects, and aspects of cooperation with governmental and private institutions related to the goals of the Development Association, in implementation of its mission by implementing various charitable and social activities, specifically in the fields of education, health care, helping needy families and sponsoring orphans, which will positively reflect on community development. As well as providing voluntary services in accordance with the strategic development plan to contribute to promoting charitable work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Development praised the association’s efforts in meeting the needs of various segments of society, expressing appreciation for its specific initiatives in the charitable and humanitarian fields, noting in this context the positive role played by civil organizations and civil society institutions in the service of sustainable development in the Kingdom, stressing the Ministry’s keenness to Facilitating procedures for licensing money-raising for charities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
For their part, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Tree of Life Social Charitable Society expressed their appreciation to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development for its efforts to support the activities of civil organizations and support them to work professionally and raise their efficiency in order to enable them to play their role and effective contribution to the renaissance of our dear country.
