Tree of Life Charitable Society holds its fourth ceremony for the Humanity and Charitable Work Award

In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, the Tree of Life Charitable Society organized the fourth edition of the Humanity and Charity Work Award ceremony at the Sofitel Zallaq Hotel on Sunday evening, November 4, 2024, in the presence of the Society’s Chairman, Eng. Khalil Al-Daylami, members of the Board of Directors, a number of representatives, representatives of relevant civil society organizations, active social figures, and companies supporting charitable work, where 22 people who made and offered great sacrifices were honored, as well as some representatives of voluntary and charitable civil society organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The first segment of the ceremony began with the Royal Anthem played by the Police Band, then verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the Society. This was followed by a speech by His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, a speech on behalf of the honorees by Mohammed Jassim Sayyar, and the rest of the segments of the ceremony varied between a patriotic song by the artist Faisal Al Ansari, a film about the Society’s achievements over 12 years, an introductory film about the award, and a film reviewing the previous three versions of the award. Afterwards, His Excellency the Minister was presented with a souvenir as a thank you for his honor and patronage of the Humanity and Charity Award ceremony. His Excellency the Minister of Social Development praised the role of the Tree of Life Charitable Society for its efforts and contributions to developing areas of development work, stressing in this context that the interest of societies in volunteer work is the title of their progress and development and a fundamental pillar in building and thriving societies to achieve their humanitarian goals. It is worth noting that the ceremony was attended by more than 500 people, where the candidates were honored in an unusual way in the form of a picture puzzle for the honoree. At the end of the honoring, the distinguished artist Ahmed Al-Jumairi surprised the audience with his resounding voice with the wonderful national anthem. The ceremony concluded with honoring the distinguished artist Ahmed Al-Jumairi, the artist Faisal Al-Ansari and the police band. In conclusion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng.
