His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Saleh Al-Alawi, met in his office on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tree of Life Charitable Social Association, Eng. Khalil Al-Dailami, in the presence of a number of members of the Association’s Board of Directors. During the meeting, Al-Dailami reviewed the most prominent achievements and initiatives of the association in the field of charitable work throughout its service to the community, and its vision through which it seeks to be a model to be emulated in the fields of charitable and humanitarian work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with relevant governmental and private institutions. The most prominent challenges facing the association’s work were also discussed, and ways to facilitate procedures that would enhance its role and improve its performance in serving the community were explored. In this context, Al-Alawi praised Al-Dailami’s role in promoting the culture of volunteer and humanitarian work as one of the pioneers of leadership models in this regard, in light of the remarkable contributions he has made since the Tree of Life Charitable and Social Society adopted initiatives and activities to care for orphans and care for their affairs. He also noted the role played by the association, its contributions and services in the social, humanitarian and charitable fields, which benefit the country and citizens, stressing in this context the Ministry of Labor and Social Development’s support for all efforts of civil society organizations, and overcoming any obstacles they face in accordance with the systems and laws, given the importance of the role of these organizations and their contributions in supporting the development process. The Chairman of the Board of Directors and all members of the Board extend their thanks and appreciation to His Excellency for his warm reception and support of charitable societies in our beloved Kingdom. We reiterate our congratulations to him for gaining the royal trust, which he is worthy of.
