An association concerned with providing social assistance to needy families, providing treatment assistance to patients, providing scholarships and aid for students, and holding cultural and social events and activities. The charitable work in the village did not stop, generation after generation, and for more organization, the Social Committee of the Al-Deir Cultural and Sports Club submitted a request to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to establish the Al-Deir Charitable Club Fund to exercise its functions as an independent social institution within the village community and be a catalyst for providing a state of social stability and The fund was established by a decision of the Ministry No. SHN/7/1989 issued on 01/28/1989. The fund was independently announced under the name of the Al-Dair Charitable Fund on October 11, 1993, according to a decision by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and as a result, an announcement was made to form a founding committee to elect a board of trustees to have the authority to run the fund’s activities, which are mainly focused on helping needy families within residential complexes. covered by the Fund's activities at the village level.
After a decision by the Ministry of Social Development to transfer charitable funds to associations, the Al-Dair Charitable Fund was transferred to the Al-Deir Charitable Association with new founders on December 26, 2010 AD within an administrative structure based on the office body, which consists of the chairman of the board, the vice president, the secretary, the financial secretary, and members of the board of directors. Administration . The association has 240 members, men and women. The association supports 34 families from the village with fixed monthly financial aid, totaling 1,100 dinars per month. The association also provides food and catering aid to 92 families at a cost of 1,400 dinars per month. The association also sponsors 65 orphans. Among its most important achievements is the construction of the current Al-Khayef Mosque and the Kindergarten of the Path of Goodness, and the holding of 19 ceremonies to honor outstanding students.
