The association was established in 1998 under the name of the Salmabad Charity Fund, under registration number 2/M/Kh/S/98, by those interested in charitable work in the village at the time. In 2010, the fund was transformed into the Salmabad Charity Association, in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, pursuant to Resolution No. 84 of 2010, under registration number 54/C/Kh.
