Crochet has been considered one of the ancient handicrafts for ages, and the name crochet may have been derived from the French language. It is known in Arabic as hand-knitting or hand-weaving with a needle, and it is one of the most beautiful handicrafts. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Khalil Al-Dailami, and all members of the Board of Directors extend their thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Mona Al-Hawaj for her efforts and initiative to teach orphans and widows the skill of sewing crochet during the summer period (on Sunday and Thursday of every week). May God put it in the balance of her good deeds.
